On the Table, at Breakfast

This is how I prepare the breakfast table every morning. I found this placemat at William Sonoma, in New York, many years ago. I bought four. They were not cheap but I liked them and I used them over and over for  breakfast and informal lunch or dinner with friends.

Last year I went to Bali  and they were all over,  in stores, markets or with street vendors.  It seems they are part of some local production and  through an invisible market mechanism they land in New York, in most expensive stores.  Dirty cheap they were in Bali and therefore I bought many of them.
