Beads


I very much like these very modern necklaces made of gold, lapis lazuli, carnelian, agate. I would wear them any time. Interesting is that they were made 4000 years ago, in Ur, Mesopotamia (now in Southern Iraq).

  1. I love these ancient pieces! They're still very inspiring even though one could get the idea that they're outdated! I had a small jewellery company and workshop until a couple of years ago, and I've often tried to achieve the same rhythm and harmony that these old necklaces have. This is a very beautiful post!
