I said it before, I don't like to change bags every day. When I did this I always forgot something, keys, card keys etc. Therefore my daily outfits are construed around the same bag, for about a week or more. This week my large red bag from the Trend was the inspirational element. Today, however the centerpiece was my HUGE ring by Kenneth Jay Lane

I MADE A HAT
I made a hat from fur and felt,
a feather, and a leather belt.
I topped
it with a pretty bow
and lots of ribbons, just for show.
I held it up,
admiring it,
then tried it on. It wouldn't fit!
I pushed and pulled with
all my might,
the front, the back, the left, the right.
And yet, no matter
how I tried
it wouldn't fit. I nearly cried!
I yanked it off and yelped
because
I saw then what the problem was.
I'm such a dolt, I had to
frown.
I'd made the darned thing upside down!

Yves
Hedi Slimane, the new head at Yves Saint Laurent decided to change the name of the brand to St Laurent Paris, for the pret-a -porter collections. He may have his reasons, but I cannot say I like it. It sounds like a street name. There is St Laurent Paris and St Laurent Montreal. What will happen to YSL logo? Anyway, that's his problem.
I purchased my Yves St Laurent blazer in Amman, Jordan in a boutique near Amra Hotel, the year Yves St Laurent passed away. I was gazing at the bleu-marine beauty when the seller approached me and asked me whether I wanted to buy it. This is from his last collection, he said, and I will make you a good price. These were strong incentives, indeed. After so many years the blazer is still highly wearable, still elegant and gives me a lot of pleasure.
Conclusion: when you really feel the urge of buying something beautiful, don't resist.

Mix non match
Nothing seems to match on what I am wearing today. I pulled everything out of my closet, in a hurry, before leaving. I feel however comfortable and this is the essential.

VUITTON DOT COM
Vuitton teams up with the noted Japanese artist Yayoy Kusama.
It supports her new exhibition at Tate
Gallery in London and it collaborates with her for the design of various items. The new collection features her famous dot pattern and
lively opposite colours. About her art Kusama says it has no boundary and refers to
herself as an environmentalist artist.
This is not the first collaboration between
Vuitton and a Japanese artist. Few years ago Vuitton collections were inspired
by the work of Takashi Murakami.
