Is Black Back?

I was never an all black person, although at one point in my life I affectionate all white, but not anymore. Therefore I enjoyed the shower of colours the fashion designers poured over us, aspiring fashionistas during this last year and a half. Nevertheless, during the last fashion show in NY as well as in many look books I was surprised about how many black outfits appeared. Is black back? Has it ever left the fashion scene or is just my impression of its coming back?

The Little Black Dress

I'm invited to a wedding and I want to wear this exquisite little black dress I found on Ebay. It is an Oscar de la Renta at a more than reasonable price. My questions is: is  black appropriate to wear at a wedding, or I need something more colourful?

Divas

I like so much the Italian divas of the 50’s and 60s movies! Sophia Loren, Gina Lollobrigida, Claudia Cardinale, Virna Lisi. French had Brigitte Bardot and Americans Elizabeth Taylor, but Italy had a bouquet of beautiful actresses. They were sexy but not vulgar, elegant and so glamorous.

The Last Summer Day

I went to the hairdresser today, clad in a bright pink and orange outfit. Suddenly a woman came to me and said "These are summer colours you wear and you look great". She made my day, of course and I realized that summer was gone.
