I'm invited to a wedding and I want to wear this exquisite little black dress I found on Ebay. It is an Oscar de la Renta at a more than reasonable price. My questions is: is black appropriate to wear at a wedding, or I need something more colourful?

Nowadays I think you can wear whatever you like, although white as the bride is a bit tasteless. To avoid stepping on anyone's toes, you can however compromise by choosing a coloured clutch or some other accessory, that adds a colourful focal point. With a dress like that I wouldn't hesitate to wear it, it's gorgeous!
