Romantic Rain

It was a rainy day today, a rare event since summer is generous in sun and light here. I don't mind summer rains for they bring back a lot of nice memories. Long walks  under a large umbrella, hiding under a linden tree in flower, running barefoot in the rain, Brassens song "Un coin de paradis sous un coin de parapluie"...a kiss, a first kiss under a torrential rain.

Now that it's raining more than ever
Know that we'll still have each other
